“Every day, I wait outside the ICU, praying for a miracle. My heart aches every time I see our children’s worried faces and hear their questions about their father.” shares Ayesha , Ehtesham’s wife.

Ehtesham Ali, a 35-year-old father of two, is battling against a rare blood cancer, Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). About 8 to 9 months ago, he began experiencing severe infections, blood loss, and high fevers. After many tests, he was diagnosed with AML. Now, he’s in the ICU undergoing intense and painful chemotherapy and blood transfusions, each cycle lasting 21 days.

Ehtesham was the sole provider for his family. He ran a small chicken shop, and his earnings were our only source of income. “I am a housewife, and our children—our 6-year-old son and our 2-year-old daughter—are struggling to understand why they can't see their father. Our daughter often asks, When will Daddy come home?”shares his wife sadly.

With Ehtesham’s current condition, doctors have said a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) is the only hope for a permanent cure, even though the chemotherapy might not be enough. The hospital bills and his ongoing treatment are overwhelming.

“I never imagined I’d be in this position, but now, I’m asking for your support. Please help us during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to our family.” Ayesha, a hopeful wife and mother.

The goal amount of the campaign may be higher than the attached estimates to address and aid the post-hospitalization expenses/contingencies including but not limited to prolonged medication, diagnostics, rehabilitation therapies, and follow-up doctor visits/consultations which vary from disease to disease.
